Digital UX Senior Consultant

Key Functions and Responsibilities

As a Principal UI Developer in Benchmarking and Indices Division in Data & Analytics, the individual will have strong UI technical engineering skills clubbed with solid UI/UX design experience. Potential candidate will be responsible to work closely with business to gain deep understanding of complex user journeys, workflows and data interactions involved in Index business lifecycle so to come up with best-in-class user interfaces using modern UI technologies.

This role will report to head of the function and is expected to work with both internal and external index business stakeholders and varied technology teams involving UI engineers/developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.

Role Responsibilities

· Work in partnership with Product Lead(s), UX Designers and Technology teams to understand the program objectives and define a product vision/strategy for both current and strategic platforms.

· Leads the UX Vision and centre of excellence.

· Expert in understanding complex user journeys, workflows and data interactions involved in the Index life cycle to come up with UI patterns, Prototypes, Wireframes, and mock-ups using latest tools ? Figma, Adobe, Balsamiq, Sketch etc. (preferably FIGMA)

· Strong experience in UX Design Systems improving Developer efficiency ? Clarity, Halo etc.

· Prior experience of unifying multiple standalone user interfaces to come up with clear and streamlined user experience.

· Experience of understanding the interactions of UI with back-end services via API?s (ex: Restful)

· Apply modern Enterprise level trends of UI usability and accessibility.

· Have a good eye for aesthetics and presentation.

· Works with Business and Technology to define the vision and strategy for Index Products

· Responsible for setting up the UI standards and best practices for Index eco system.

Minimum Requirements

· Strong experience in FIGMA, Halo

· Experience in HTML/CSS, Java Script, Angular (advantageous)

· Standardize user experience, styling, and presentation by applying industry best practices.

· Solid understanding of software development and Agile delivery

· Some experience of Development, Business and Technical Analysis, and Quality Assurance
